BLEED

Dan Tracey © 2014

She never knew she was living a lie
Walking in on such a sick surprise…why?
She took solace in an angry place,
and let the needle and the ink erase the fire. Yeah…

Go on and let it out…

CHORUS
Bleed
Cry for the lonely
Pain is your only theme
Bleed
Stained for tomorrow
Let it roll down your sleeve
When you bleed

They lit his fuse in the desert sand
And sent him home to the promised land
A tiger untamed
Now he’s a stranger in his hometown
Walking the streets living hand to mouth
Shame, shame, shame, shame

When you’re down and out…

CHORUS

BRIDGE
And it is with the ink of our sins and our sorrows…
That we mark a moment in time…
The moment we choose to cast aside our fear…
And become who we are meant to be.

Here comes the love
Here comes the rain to wash away my fears
Here comes the flood
While you watch me drowning in my own tears

Bleed
Cry for the lonely
Pain is your only need
Bleed
Stained for tomorrow
Let it roll down your sleeve

Bleed
Cry for the lonely
Pain is your only theme
Bleed
The sin and the sorrow
Let it roll down your sleeve
When you bleed

COMIC CON

Dan Tracey © 2015

Can’t live this ordinary life
No it wasn’t meant for me
I thought about it once or twice, the person I could be
Shed the weak for something strong
Stand for right and fight the wrong
Build the armor that will let me breath again

CHORUS
Like a hero in the night
Nick of time, I’ll arrive
Answering the call
Protecting you from danger
Never let you feel the fall
Shine your light up in the cold dark night
Reach you hand out if you wanna take flight
Like a hero in the night
Nick of time, I’ll arrive
I’m your savior in the night
I am a Super Hero

VERSE 2
I sat in silence all alone
And watched an evil world go by
Forgotten freak without a home
Until I found this dark disguise
Behind the mask I’m finally brave
Found a girl I wanna save
My secrets safe if I remain an average guy

CHORUS 2
I’ll be your Super Hero…

MUSIC BREAK

SOLO

CHORUS 3
If you’re lookin’ for a Super Hero…

Can’t live this ordinary life
No it wasn’t meant for me

IN PIECES

Dan Tracey © 2014

You were just a girl I knew
Who lived beside the park there with her mom
You smiled and waved when I rode past
I did my best to try and not look back
But I did.
Reunions came and and rolled right past
I swore I’d go just like the last
You always saved an empty seat, in case I wandered in.
But this road takes me from town to town
This worn out guitar never settles down
Still everybody says that we’re denying something real.
We’ll never know. We’ll never know. Will we ever know?

CHORUS 1
If I can’t have all of you
What’s the point of making due
With pieces
I can’t give you anymore
Without leaving someone on the floor
In pieces

VERSE 2
This tin can rolls on down the line
And that’s plenty of time to get you off my mind
Still your face shows up in every song,
and my heart breaks ’cause I just can’t bear to sing along,
But I do
I’m your page most every night
Erasing all the words I write
Pretending not to wish that I could hold you one more time
But I’m all alone, and you’re all alone. We are all alone.

CHORUS 2
If I can’t have all of you
I guess I’ll just make do
With pieces
I can’t give you anymore
Without cutting someone to the core
Into pieces

You were just a girl I knew
Who broke my fragile heart into… Pieces

CIRCUS MAXIMUS

Dan Tracey © 2015

VERSE 1
This is the calling for the mindless and the willing
There is no limit to our greed
You swallow all that we can feed you in a sitting
Drinking the venom from these screens.

CHORUS
We lit the Fire
Calling the masses
For all the world to see
Feeding the minions
Fill em’ up with noise and
Plant every poison seed

VERSE 2
Disinformation is the blight that creeps the cities
Spreading like cancer on the vine
Deceit and lies 1080p we paint it pretty
We pass the cup you drink the wine

CHORUS

BRIDGE
(Spoken word by Alan Parsons)
“Wake up World
We were made to have purpose
Turn off the noise of this media circus”

SOLO

LET LOVE WIN

Dan Tracey © 2014

You came out of the clear blue sky
And I was a boy with a place to hide
Ain’t it funny how the strangest things collide
Ain’t it strange that in this darkness we found light

CHORUS
Well isn’t it time
Isn’t it time to just let go and drop these walls
Isn’t time to just let go of all these things that choke our happiness and drown us in our fear
Isn’t it time
Isn’t it time to just give up and let love win…

You held me back, and I held you down
Too afraid that you might spread your wings and leave this town
If we let go of these games and settle down
We can feel that rush, cause it’s just for us, and it’s worth this love we found.

CHORUS

BRIDGE
You’ve got me
Right where you want me
And now I’ll never be the same.

SOLO

You gotta let love win
Let love win
Isn’t it time
Isn’t it time
You gotta let love win
Let love win
Isn’t it time
Isn’t it time
To let love win

THIS LITTLE PILL

Dan Tracey © 2015

Hey ADD kid who just can’t sit still
I’m gonna fix you by breakin’ your will
Focus on things that you don’t adore
Rewire your heart so you’re fully restored

Don’t fight
It’s alright

This little pill will stop the shakes
This little pill removes all of your mistakes
This little pill can calm the storms
And this little pill will make it hurt no more

You need to escape agony and despair
Well, I’ve got the ticket to take you there
This little one on the tip of your tongue
It will erase all the damage done

Hold me
Trust me

This little pill will make you smile
This little pill will stop the voices for a while
This little pill might make you die
But this little pill will never make you feel alive

SOLO

BREAKDOWN CHORUS
This little pill can make you sane
But this little pill will only cause you pain
This little pill can make you thin
But this little pill will never let you win…

This little pill
It’s broken your will
This little pill
(I won’t fix your ills)

I WISH

Robert Wright © 2013

I can’t stop thinkin’ ‘bout the way you love me
So high above me, you raise me up
And I, I’ve become more that I am

No I can’t stop thinkin’ ‘bout the way you saved me
You chose to bathe me in you light
And I, wanna do all that I can

To win you heart, to make you see
The changes comin’ over me
The kind of man I wanna be
I’m yours

CHORUS
And I wish, you were here right now
And I wish, I could kiss your mouth
And I wish, you could see yourself through my eyes
Then you’d know why
I wish, I could touch your face
And I wish, I were worthy of your grace
And I wish, I knew the words to show you
How much I know you’re everything
Yeah, I wish
Oh

I can’t stop thinkin’ ‘bout the day I met you
I had to get you in my life
‘Cause I knew that everything had changed
No I can’t stop thinkin’ ‘bout the night I held you
I longed to tell you everything
‘Cause I, I knew I’d never be the same

You touched my hand and you pulled me close
You filled my heart and made me whole
And all I want is for you to know,
I’m yours

CHORUS

BRIDGE
It’s the way you see what’s inside of me
I can only be what I wanna be by your side
I see the future in your eyes
And I wish, you were here right now
And I wish, I could kiss your mouth
And I wish, you would never let me go
And save my soul

And I wish, I could touch your face
And I wish, I were worthy of your grace
And I wish, I knew the words to show you
How much I know you’re everything
Yeah, I wish
I wish
Ohh Ohh

BLACK PEARL

Dan Tracey & Robert Wright © 2015

Black Pearl came on your lowest day
And found a place to hide
You spoke her name
And then she remained
Working on your insides
So much at risk but you let her twist
that tourniquet ’round your arm
Still just babe, that’s how you should have stayed
Now you’re ridin that horse too hard
And you’ve got nothing left but a crooked smile…

CHORUS
She’s gonna trap you in a web of disillusion
Roll you and wrap you in her thread of lies
She will inject you with a cocktail of confusion
Leave you suspended in a cold dark life
Black Pearl

Chasin’ that high couldn’t get ya by
So you start to lie and steal
Sold everything but it didn’t bring
enough for your next meal
Cold bare feet on the angry streets
Sellin love to sick old coots
Oh my my how we criticize
now you’re walkin’ in the same shoes
You’ll have nothing left but empty eyes

CHORUS 2
She’s gonna trick you with deceit and convolutions
Spin you and stick you with a spoon full of fire
She will infect you with the sickness of seclusion
Leave you abandoned in a world so dire
Black Pearl

SOLO CANTUS

CHORUS 1
She’s gonna trap you in a web of disillusion
Roll you and wrap you in her thread of lies
She will inject with a cocktail of confusion
Leave you abandoned in your cold dark life
Black Pearl

CECILIA WEISS

Dan Tracey © 2017

Every night I relive broken dreams
and promises we were to keep, alive
And sometimes in the moons unbroken beams
I long to see you in the afterglow of life

And in my darkness, you cracked the night

CHORUS
All dressed white
Oh what a sight
Mother to son,
reach through the limelight
Send me a sign,
from the other side
Cecelia Weiss

I kept so many secrets locked away
but never could I hide them all, from you
Taken while I made my great escape.
I’ve never felt so far away, so blue

The sky is black, when you break through

CHORUS

BRIDGE
Wasn’t it a grand illusion,
shackled in a deathly dare?
Imagine my surprise,
when it was YOU who disappeared into thin air…

SOLO

CHORUS & REPRISE
All dressed white
Oh what a sight
Mother to son
straight through the limelight
send me a sign
from the other side
All dressed in white

Light of my life,
An angel in white
Cecelia Weiss

PRINCES & THIEVES

Dan Tracey © 2014

  1.  Precipice
  2.  The March
  3.  Tales in the Sand
  4.  Princes & Thieves
  5.  Rise of The Meek
  6.  Epilogue

Two thousand years of conflict and sacrifice
And while we’re bleeding, and dying, the Princes profitize
Keep you subservient crawling there on the floor
Begging for bread but loyal forevermore, You follow them to war

Twenty years of children we’ve sacrificed
We load them up and ship them to a virgins paradise
They crossed the line, and a desert shield was formed
But soon the peaceful shield turned into an angry desert storm

CHORUS
Take all the gold from the village
Worship the Prince, or you’ll die by the stone
Drink from the cup of distortions
They write the word, tell you what to believe
But castles are built on misfortunes
You’ve been deceived
There’s a fine line between
Princes and thieves

Rise Of The Meek:
Love is patient, love is kind
Sublime, and though it may take time
We will find a way to live in harmony
And reach across divisive angry seas
Though we might be held down by the supreme ones
Just like the sleeping sun…
One day, we will rise…

CHORUS:
Take all the gold from the village
Worship the Prince, or you’ll die by the stone
Drink from the cup of distortions
They write the word, tell you what to believe
But castles are built on misfortunes
You’ve been deceived
There’s a fine line between
Princes and thieves

Just look into a child’s eyes
And ask yourself one more time
What are we fighting for, anyway?

Despite of all our differences
The salt in our tears, our joys and our fears,
They’re all the same

And though it’s called by different names
Me Amore’, Dragoste, Annaba, Ich Liebe Dich (Spanish, Romanian, Arabic, German)
It all means the same…

For those who tried to spread their light
Martin Luther, John Lennon
(Love, Love, Love)
Lift you hands up to the sky
(Love, Love, Love)
And celebrate their peaceful lives
Dali Lama, Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela. Ohhhhhh…
(Love, Love, Love)
(Love, Love, Love)
Love is all we need, Love is all we need
(Love, Love, Love)
(Love, Love, Love)

THE LIGHT

Dan Tracey © 2014

The mind can be a lonely place
When you’re contemplating time and space
When science says they’ve got it right
We’re only light

But what of all who’ve come before
Did they breach the gates of heavens door
Or was the end just darkness, despite
we’re only light?

CHORUS
Then I will shine a brilliant flare
Out into the atmosphere
Illuminating every heart
On every star

Is it by chance that I found you
Or did the universe decide that too?
If it was always written in the stars
Then they’d be right

‘Cause love can never be explained
Not tangible, nor to be named
It’s feeling that can cause such pain
Yet burn so bright

CHORUS
Love shall cast an amazing glow
Illuminating all who know
We are more than merely light
They can’t be right

Our place in the universe
Will always be an unquenched thirst
For whom among knows for sure
About the light

Our time is short, and that’s a fact
Once spent, there’s no going back
Send your love out ever bright
Into the light

Our luminous and brilliant sun
Shines on each and everyone
Reminding us at every dawn
Through our children we live on…
In light
We are… We are the light
We are… We are the light
We are… We are the light
Shine On

Thanks:

Hello Heroes! Recording this record has been a THREE year journey for us, all while juggling touring schedules with other artists and balancing some semblance of a normal home life. Working in separate studios, sending files back and forth, doing last minute sessions just before long overseas plane flights, bus tours, etc., took longer than expected – to say the least – but we made it work. We’d like to sincerely thank everyone who’s been anxiously awaiting this record for both their patience and their continued support of Save The World. Your positive feedback along the way gave us the strength to see this thing through to the end, and you’re the reason we wanted to make this record to begin with.

To Jeff Brauer: You believed in this from day one. Thank you for your enthusiasm and honest advice, and for being the vehicle which allows us to spread our message. Your patience and understanding while we navigated our crazy schedules was greatly appreciated. All that said, your friendship trumps all.

Dan Tracey thanks:

Alan Parsons: The most humble genius. I’ve learned so much from you. Thanks for the opportunity to grow under your guidance. I truly treasure being a part of our crazy APP family.

To Sheryl: Thank you for pushing me when my lyrics wouldn’t come, when I was ready to put it all down and walk away. Your character, patience, inspiration, and love are everything that’s right in the world.

Kaelyn and Braden: You are without question my life’s biggest blessings. You’re in every word and every note of every song. “Through our children, we live on.” XO

Mother: As a boy I was not only allowed to play out my internal need to create music, but it was fostered and nurtured in the most amazing ways, too many to list. However, my life is simply better because my mother taught me what’s important in life. That’s the greatest gift. Eternal love to my mother, Dorothy.

Robert Wright thanks:

Dan T. for all the great songs, the hard work, and the immense trust I know it wasn’t easy to surrender; Dave A. for the patience and hard work along the way; Jon W. for being the catalyst and charisma of the project; all the amazing people in my life whose enthusiastic support and kind words keep me happily slaving away over a hot Pro Tools rig; and especially, my amazing daughter, Ashley, the inspiration and motivation for all I do.

This record is dedicated to the men & women of the US Armed Services, and to their families.

“When you see someone in a uniform,
Someone who serves us all,
Doing military duty,
Answering their country’s call,
Take a moment to thank them
For protecting what you hold dear;
Tell them you are proud of them;
Make it very clear.”  Joanna Fuchs

In Memory of John “Chappy” Chapman USAF, Leon H Castonguay US Navy.
