Our frontman, Dan Tracey, is making a trip to play at Wildside Bar & Grill in Orlando honoring the victims of The Pulse Nightclub attack. Other Nashville artists who are playing the show are, Todd Cooper – (sax/vocals for Alan Parsons), and Rick Brothers – (Gretchen Wilson, Colt Ford).
When asked about the event, Dan said:
“We wanted to do “something” when we saw the horrific aftermath from the terrorist attack in Florida. All we really have to give is our music, and we’re hoping it’ll bring people together to start the healing, while raising funds for the victims and their families.
Rico has been a good friend for a few years and he was very kind to allow us to help him heal his community.
I’m always preaching “stepping up” to my daughter, and this is perfect way to walk the talk. These people need all of us to wrap our arms around them right now.
It’s important to remind people that no matter what their beliefs or socioeconomic background you can always do something to help. In this case, we’re merely offering some music to bring people together and help raise money for the victims.”
A big thank you to Mark Byers and Lisa Hudson at Southwest Airlines for providing the flights to get there!! This airline is extremely “musician friendly” and Mark and Lisa are consistently helping out in our community and across the globe.
If anyone lives in the Orlando area and would like to attend the show, there is a $20 suggested donation and all of the proceeds are going to www.pulseoforlando.org. Come out to Wildside Bar& Grill at 5 for a night full of music, food and fundraising.
Thank you all and be safe.
